Hey Kids....

Have you found any good pumpkins yet?  Imagine carving this one....  Weighing in at 1658 pounds, it's the biggest pumpkin in the country this year!  The farmer who grew it toted it 2000 miles from Iowa to California for the competition  !!!

 Farmer Don Young, from Des Moines, Iowa, stands next to his winning pumpkin at the Half Moon Bay 36th Annual Safeway World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-off in Half Moon Bay, Calif. on Monday, Oct. 12, 2009. Young's pumpkin weighed in at 1658 pounds, setting a weight record for California.

 

Now that's a lot of pumpkin pie!!!!
