What's Going On??!!!

If there is one thing I totally hate...it's BUGS!! Spiders, ants, roaches, horse flys, etc! I saw the interactive DisneyWorld show "It's A Bugs Life" years ago...and thought they were going to have to carry me out!! And even though they only come around every 17 years or so...this list includes "cicadas"! They are ugly, they are loud, they are terrible fliers, they stink once they croak...and they don't just appear randomly...ya see one...ya see a dozen or more to follow! Well...I'm over them...they have over-stayed their welcome!! Time to go away 'ole beady eyes!!! They are in my gardens, in my...

You've heard of the saying "it's a dog's life" right? Well, with the addition of a cute, but rambunctious, yellow lab puppy to my household about 6 weeks ago..my life has truly gone "to the dog(s)"!!! Everything I do is planned around this crazy, adorable 13 week old I call "Marley". What time I get up (still doing the middle of the night potty time because I don't want to clean up the mess in her cage)...how long I can be gone on errands, after work plans, etc. Just today...I got rates on "puppy training" and "containment fencing" just to make my life easier! I truly do NOT remember previous dogs...

It's our last "Shoesday Tuesday"....I thought I would acknowledge the day by wearing my HIGHEST heeled shoes to work today! First keep in mind that I'm a TALL girl...5' 9 1/2 "....so today I'm an amazon!! I think it kinda intimidates the guys around here....which I love! I was always the tallest girl in school and used to hunch....probably why I won't date men under 6'!!! Anyway...listen for the sounder soon to call in and win $500 in stilettos, flats or anything in between!!

Great night for the Chicago/Doobie Brothers concert at Riverbend....look for us on site....and stop and say "hello"!

Hi everyone!

Well, I took Friday off and spent the entire long weekend in NorthWestern Indiana (about an hour out of Chicago) for a soccer tournament for my daughter's team....the Panthers! They are U-16 out of Miami Township...and are AWESOME to watch! As you parents with kids playing traveling select soccer know...it's very expensive and sometimes you have to drive to far off places...but, it is SOOO worth it to watch this level of soccer. Hannah and her team mates had a terrific weekend moving up to the premier level of the Midwest Regional League. With teams from states all over...

Hi guys!! It's a beautiful day in the tristate....I was driving into work and thought that if I had the time I would sit on the plaza for JUST 15 minutes or so to soak up some sun before I went on the air. Well...it didn't happen! Sigh...here's hoping we get a few more days like this before the summer heat really sets in!

BTW...if you are going to James Taylor at Riverbend tonite...look for our van and WARM table there. You can sign up to win a gift card! Enjoy the show...he is still in great voice after all these years!

More concerts....more free tickets!! Huey Lewis is coming to...

Bobbi's Bio

Bobbi Maxwell is another of the "home-grown" members of the WARM 98 Airstaff. Having grown up in the West Chester area, she attended the Lakota School district, where she made the early decision to get into the broadcasting field after seeing an "easy credit" opportunity by taking the high school's Radio Broadcasting I course. Little did she know the microphone would become her bread and butter as well as music her passion.

Bobbi also briefly attended Miami University/Middletown, but not long enough to become a full-fledged Redhawks fan... her closet is instead filled with UC Bearcats logos...after being a long-time season ticket holder, even through the lean years!

She is also a single mom of two daughters, Dana and Hannah, and resides on the east side of town.

Bobbi's time away from the station is usually spent with her girls, her extended family of eight brothers and sisters, or with her yellow lab puppy, Marley and cat, Lucky !

Bobbi also loves to read, garden, go to yard sales, concerts and movies, as well as travel and of course, listen to music!
