I've never hid the fact that I'm a HUGE Cincinnati Bearcats fan!! We've had our ups and downs...but Bearcats football this year was exciting, incredible, and at times nailbiting crazy!! I had the pleasure to head to New Orleans last Thursday to take in all the fun and frenzy! It started when I pulled into downtown N.O. with the windows down on a gorgeous day. I heard music...no not cajun, jazz or anything N.O. is famous for. It was a marching band...playing the UC fight song!!! As we headed down Canal Street, the music got louder...and there they were in black and red in front of the Marriot playing to hundreds of Cats fans!! The UC Marching Band! Too cool! We had our Bearcat flags flying on the SUV...so Cincy fans gave us thumbs up...shouts and the now notorius "ohhh...ohhh....ohhh UC" chant, that N.O. will have in their ears for weeks! A UC pep rally overtook an entire block near Jackson Square...where Dan Hoard's voice echoed on mic through downtown. Way too cool!!

Moving on to Bourbon St. for a little New Year's Eve fun....was a sea of red and black Cat's fans! Where were the Florida fans who only drove a few hours to get there?! We thrived on the commotion, pride and excitement for the game on Friday!!  It seemed a good percentage of the tri-state were in Bayou Country for the event....there were SO many fans in attendance!! What an incredibly memorable way to ring in the New Year!!

I don't need to recount the actual game...other than just being in the Superdome was an awesome feeling. We weren't on our game this time...and Tim Tebow and company were. At games end, when Mardy Gilyard walked up to fans with handshakes and hugs..it seemed he really didn't want to see it end. We didn't either, Mardy. So, despite the smack talk from Florida fans afterward, and the media's "how did this happen" questions....I am still a devout, proud UC Bearcat fan forever. What an incredible season!! Thanks Cats!!!

Bobbi's Bio

Bobbi Maxwell is another of the "home-grown" members of the WARM 98 Airstaff. Having grown up in the West Chester area, she attended the Lakota School district, where she made the early decision to get into the broadcasting field after seeing an "easy credit" opportunity by taking the high school's Radio Broadcasting I course. Little did she know the microphone would become her bread and butter as well as music her passion.

Bobbi also briefly attended Miami University/Middletown, but not long enough to become a full-fledged Redhawks fan... her closet is instead filled with UC Bearcats logos...after being a long-time season ticket holder, even through the lean years!

She is also a single mom of two daughters, Dana and Hannah, and resides on the east side of town.

Bobbi's time away from the station is usually spent with her girls, her extended family of eight brothers and sisters, or with her yellow lab puppy, Marley and cat, Lucky !

Bobbi also loves to read, garden, go to yard sales, concerts and movies, as well as travel and of course, listen to music!
