Don't ya love it....several inches of snow head towards the tri-state (and granted it's the first one of the season) so we always anticipate the first biggie, but you would have thought the Blizzard Big One was about to hit the way it was covered on TV.  Karen & I went to the grocery store last night (NOT because the winter storm was coming...but because we hadn't grocery shopped since the family came in for Christmas) and there was little to no milk and bread left at the store.  I guess we picked the wrong night to do our shopping.  And here we are....outside of my studio window I can see about 3" of snow (if that)...and the roads are clear - people still driving over the speed limit, most schools closed and still not quite enough snow to make a good snowman!

Remember the December 22 & 23 snow/ice storm of 2004?  Now THAT was a storm...that one made the Blizzard of '08 look like a puny powder poof-puff.  And we all survived that one in 2004, so these little 2-4 incher storms to me seem a bit overexaggerated.

Well, now that the storm has passed, we can look forward to the REAL big one this weekend....revenge against the Jets!  Now that's a storm you wanna look out for!

Enjoy the snow day!
